Prequel to the Matrix (29. Mai 2007)
Keanu Reeves did a good job in this cyberpunk science fiction movie. U can see it as a prequel of the Matrix.Considering it was based on the short story of the same name by cyberpunk godfather William Gibson, the movie is a minor disappointment. It's not that bad, but it could have been so much better.
However, a lot of Gibson's ideas are still there, making it a solid cyberpunk movie. There aren't too many of those around.
I would have prefered Billy Idol's Cyberpunk instead of this soundtrack, though.
Guter Science-Fiction! (28. November 2006)
Dieser moderne SF-Film hat das Zeug in ein paar Jahren das Prädikat "Klassiker" zu erhalten. Keanu Reeves spielt seine Rolle als lebendige Festplatte überzeugend. Vielleicht wurde er auch deshalb etwas später für die Matrix-Trilogie als Hauptdarsteller ausgewählt, da die Inhalte beider Filme zwar nicht vergleichbar sind, aber vom Stil her zusammen passen.Bild, Ton und Special Effects sind zufriedenstellend bis gut. Die FSK 18 Freigabe halte ich an dieser Stelle allerdings für etwas übertrieben, wenn man bedenkt welche wirklich brutalen Filme teilweise eine 16er Freigabe erhalten.
Für 7 Euro kann man hier definitiv nichts falsch machen.
